This course combines an understanding of practical magazine journalism with an insight into the industry our graduates aspire to enter. With this integrated approach, you are able to put into creative practice what you have studied in theory.
This course combines vocational training and academic study in all aspects of print and online magazines - writing for them, producing them, designing and laying them out, researching and developing.
You will learn your craft using professional digital technologies, modern production practices, and develop as a journalist the basics of producing well-written, interesting and legally sound copy delivered to length and deadline. First and foremost you will learn to find stories, write them, and do the layout for them on pages of all sizes in print.
