This beginner’s level course is designed to give the complete novice or budding artist an insight to the wonderful world of pencil sketching and drawing. Focusing on plants and wildlife, it offers to show you some of the basic skills, ways to observe light and texture when drawing still life.
Aimed at building up the confidence and improving the abilities of the artist and placing them in a good position to carry on at home with their own compositions
The main points of the course will focus around:
Explaining the tools of the trade!
Techniques of shading
Light form and shade of a composition
Delivered in a relaxed and inspiring environment it is hoped that it will offer a fun experience whilst giving the opportunity to learn new skills
