Course programme
Course participants will work on each other, experiencing working with different face and eye shapes, skin types and textures, developing practical application techniques. Topics covered will include historical Make-Up styles (1950’s and 1960’s), water-based Make-Up, ageing using shading and highlighting, and fashion Make-Up with glitter. Additionally you will be introduced to special effects Make-Up: basic prosthetics and accurate casualty effects using wax and gelatin to create cuts and burns.
Taught in our state of the art Make-up studios by Sophie Monro who is a professional member of the ‘Make-up for Media and Performance’ team at the Arts University, this course will give you the opportunity to work in a realistic, comfortable and professional working environment.
