A CPD accredited programme available for anyone, anywhere in the world who wishes to learn how to make a luxury range of natural skincare products to suit different skin types. This distance learning course is broken down into four manageable modules, each of which guide you through the steps you need to take in order to produce the most beautiful cleansers, toners, moisturising mousses, masks, gels and serums.

No experience necessary!

By the end of the course you will be able to -

. Create a range of bespoke skincare products using only natural ingredients
. Understand the purpose, benefits and properties of each of the raw ingredients
. Understand different skin types and how best to treat each type
. Identify the best essential oils to use for different skin conditions
. Identify active ingredients and how they help the skin
. Design and formulate products

You will be taught how to make different products and learn a variety of techniques for creating creams, cleansing milks, face masks and more. The properties and benefits of essential oils and floral waters will be explained and you will have the opportunity to try different essential oil products. As part of the course you will also receive a range of exotic oils, butters and waxes to experiment with during this distance learning programme.

Your tutor will assist you throughout the course and will offer email support during the programme which will enable you to ask questions as and when they arise. Full written explanations, exercises, examples and other supporting documentation will be provided as part of the course material.

All the ingredients including oils such as sweet almond, apricot kernel, evening primrose, coconut, avocado, vitamin E and calendula, cocoa and shea butters, essential oils, clays, gels, floral waters and waxes are supplied for your use on this course allowing you to experiment with a huge range of products.

The course is broken down into four modulesfor you to study at home There is no time limit to pressure you. The course can take as little or as long as you wish, depending on the time you can set aside for learning.

What you will need to provide -
You will need to provide all the equipment needed for ‘cooking’ your products. These include saucepans, glass jugs, heat source (gas or electric cooker), metric scales, spoons, protective clothing (rubber or latex gloves) and anything you need to clear up before and after making your products.

A printed certificate is issued to those who have successfully completed this course in line with the CPD Certification Service requirements.
