Our courses are fun and informative and a balance between theory and practical hands-on exercise. Our class sizes are small and typically range from 1 to 8 students. This ensures that you have complete control over the products you make, from weighing and mixing the ingredients, creating blends of essential oils, tweaking the recipes and designing your own special variations. Sally has run Plush Folly for just over six years. She has helped write two books, The Real Soapmakers E-book, (Sally wrote the chapter on Product Safety Assessment & Cosmetic Legislation) & a craft book in which she wrote the section on making paper. Sally has consultant for a large company during their filming of crime fiction based around an organic soap & toiletry manufacturer. As well as making natural cosmetics live on BBC Solent radio, Sally worked with Channel 5 television production, advising on a formulation for making soap.

Beautiful creamy and luxurious soap with big foamy bubbles made from natural ingredients – you need to try it to appreciate the difference.

The aim of this workshop is to enable you to create this magnificent soap from scratch and to alleviate any fears you may have using the ingredients required. We teach you both the hot and cold process methods and discuss rebatching your soaps.
