By the end of hte course you will know how to make soap from scratch, understand what benefits the different ingredients will bring to the soap, use essential and fragrance oils to perfume your soap, use a range of botanicals to add texture to your soaps and understand different colouring techniques such as layering and marbelling.

She has helped write two books, The Real Soapmakers E-book, (Sally wrote the chapter on Product Safety Assessment & Cosmetic Legislation) & a craft book in which she wrote the section on making paper. Sally has consultant for a large company during their filming of crime fiction based around an organic soap & toiletry manufacturer. As well as making natural cosmetics live on BBC Solent radio, Sally worked with Channel 5 television production, advising on a formulation for making soap.

The aim of this workshop is to enable you to create this magnificent soap from scratch and to alleviate any fears you may have using the ingredients required. We teach you both the hot and cold process methods and discuss rebatching your soaps.
