The MSc Management programme culminates with applied modules, which will simulate a competitive environment with realistic insights into the decision making processes of the business world.

Business plan competition

Working in teams on the development of an idea, the competition involves two distinctive elements: an elevator pitch and a substantive presentation. This provides an opportunity to experience all the stages involved in putting a business idea together, along with the experience of selling it to potential backers.

Business simulation exercise

This is an innovative addition to the MSc Management programme, where you take executive decisions as members of the board of directors of a ‘virtual’ company. Groups compete for a market share and develop a sustainable business strategy for implementation.

Consultancy project

This is an opportunity to apply what you have learned to a real consulting project. The focus is on developing your skills in managing a real project from inception to completion.

Management essay

The management essay is a 5,000-word essay on a relevant management topic.
