Successful businesses need to make changes regularly to stay ahead. Yet too often change either fails at the first hurdle or within 6 months people have reverted to old habits. The two key reasons for this are poor planning and failing to take account of human nature - just telling someone to do something differently is rarely enough. Even if they appear to be behaving differently it is likely to be half hearted and without the true motivation that is needed for success. For successful change to happen it is important to understand how to help staff to manage their concerns and align their needs to the business.
