One day professional Manicure and Pedicure Course will cover correct nail care of the hands and feet, including filing, shaping, cuticle work and relevant massage. This is one course that covers both subjects, students will also learn how to polish the nail properly, contra indications and consultations. Aftercare advice is covered on this pedicure course as well as recognising skin and nail diseases and disorders and infectious foot diseases. On completion, you will also know how to polish the nail properly both with regular colours and in French varnish finish.

About this course

If you feel one day is not enough training, you are able to come back to repeat the course again free of charge within 6 months when spaces are available with the same tutor. However, due to small classes and the 1-1 attention you receive this is rare but for your piece of mind available if required.

This one day accredited diploma course is open to complete beginners or existing therapists, no previous beauty or massage experience required to attend.

Anyone over the age of 16 may attend this one day diploma course. Please note anyone under the age of 18 their parents are asked to book their course for them or an adult over the age of 18. Also please note that 3rd party insurance cover may not be accepted under the age of 18 we advise you check before you book if under the age of 18. No written exam – just a practical assessment whilst you work during the day This course is ideal for a beginner with no previous experience or for an experienced therapist to add this training to what they already offer.

This course has been awarded CPD points. Please check with whom you are registered for their guidelines on how many points they award for one day courses as they all differ, one day courses are awarded between 5 - 15 CPD points. This is far safer with regard to health and safety than using hot paraffin wax but gives the same if not better results.
    • Correct cutting and shaping of the toenail. Exfoliation of the of the feet and correction use of foot files buff to buff hard skin on the feet.
