You will learn about hand and nail conditions which will then be applied as you prepare for and perform a manicure safely and effectively.  The course has practical elements where you will learn how to safely and effectively perform a manicure treatment.  You will aso learn relevant underpinning knowledge about nail and hand conditions and the structure of the nailYou must be able to commit to 12 weeks of learning and assessment. You will be required to bring in clients to practise on and to be assessed on.

In addition, you are expected to study/practice at home for approximately 2 hours per night, to ensure that you know all theory required and practice your skills.


You should wear a professional beauty uniform, have your hair tied back, short neat nails etc. Black flat shoes should be worn in the salon.
