About this course
There are several regulations in place to safeguard staff working in the hospitality sector when carrying out tasks which involve lifting and moving heavy items. It is important that you are adequately trained in manual handling procedures and you are fully aware of ‘The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992’.
A number of accidents occur in the workplace each year as a direct result of poor manual handling practices or insufficient training. Our Manual Handling training course will provide you with the required training to understand the risk commonly associated with manual handling, how to conduct a risk assessment and how to implement comprehensive control and safety measures.
This course is suitable for all employees, from junior staff to supervisors. Anyone who is required to carry out manual handling tasks such as the transportation of items or heavy lifting will benefit from our training.
There are no entry requirements for this course.
