Manual handling is an important health and safety issue within any industry, including offices and hotels. Handling will always be required, so training and awareness raising are neccessary to reduce the rsik's associated with this handling

Good manual handling practices can lead to many benefits for the employer,

* Legal compliance, failure to address manual handling issues in line with the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 is a criminal offence.

However from an employye's perspective the main issue is the avoidance of pain and ongoing problems.

While managing of Health & Safety at work Regulations !999 requires employers to make suitable and sufficient assessment of the risks to the health & safetyof their employees at work. These assessmetns must be carried out by a competent person

Additional information

Payment options: This course can be done on or off the companies premises. An increase of £50 would be needed if done off companies premises. A suitable room would be required for in house training.
