To teach the principles of Human Kinetics, the relevant job safety knowledge involved in Kinetic Handling, and the correct methods of manual lifting, carrying and lowering various loads and objects.

Course programme
Learn the techniques of safe manual handling and lifting.
On completion of the course you will understand the statutory requirements and the need for safety training. The course covers the concepts of human kinetics, facts on backs and lifting, posture, hand mechanics, lifting, pushing and pulling, handling problems, strain and accident prevention, use of barrows etc. and much more.
As a record of your achievement, a TAL certificate of training is provided.
This course meets the relevant statutory requirements of the Employer in respect of the provision of adequate training for these applications, and is based upon proposed EEC Regulations for Manual Lifting and Handling.
Course Duration
One day (8 x hours) or half-day (5 hours), depending upon applications – normally 6 x delegates per course

Comprehensive Course Manual issued to each delegate
Course Location
On-site at Customers premises, or at TAL Centre in Coventry
Note: When courses are held at customer’s site, we would require suitable accommodation for classroom instruction and suitable loads and objects for practical training.
Staff Instructors
All TAL staff instructors are accredited by the appropriate accrediting body and are also fully experienced, trained, tested and certificated on the relevant machines
