The aim of this course is to give suitably qualified candidates an understanding of the manual handling regulations and the ability to train students to recognise, assess and lift safely heavy and/or awkward loads.
Once individuals are trained they will have the necessary skills and ability to recognise the risks and dangers associated with unsafe manual handling, and to provide professional and effective training to employees, with a view to substantially reducing accidents involving manual handling within the workplace.

All information and practical training carried out during this course is in line with the Manual Handling Regulations 1992.
