Manual Handling Train the Trainer

The aim of this course is to give suitably qualified candidates an understanding of the manual handling regulations and the ability to train students to recognise, assess and lift safely heavy and/or awkward loads.

Once individuals are trained they will have the necessary skills and ability to recognise the risks and dangers associated with unsafe manual handling, and to provide professional and effective training to employees, with a view to substantially reducing accidents involving manual handling within the workplace.

This two day course involves both theory and practical sessions and is designed to give delegates the knowledge, presentation skills and ability to carry out safe manual handling training within the workplace with a view to reducing the amount of work related illness associated with manual handling accidents.
