Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a light and gentle massage with powerful cleansing, relaxing, pain relieving & immunological effects. It's flowing, rhythmic techniques provide a sense of well-being and can be applied to a wide range of physical conditions to great effect.
MLD facilitates the removal of wastes, toxins, bacteria and foreign substances via lymph vessels and capillaries. It can enhance the immune system and reduce pain. It is a helpful treatment for cancer patients and the MLD course has been designed with this in mind. Furthermore it can be used to treat a wide variety of problems including oedema, skin disorders, headache, sinus congestion, sprains and aches, stress, digestive disorders and before and after surgery.
This course is for therapists that already hold a massage qualification. We only allow a maximum of 6 students per class to provide the student with individual attention. On successful course completion you will receive your certificate at the end of the day. A comprehensive training manual is provided for all students including marketing and insurance advice.
The course is accredited by the following professional bodies: Complementary Therapists Association, Embody, The Guild of Holistic Therapists, Complementary Medical Association and Federation of Holistic Therapies.
