The marine school not only offers students the prospect of studying within a specialist marine laboratory holding aquariums that contain species that vary from sharks through to corals, but the close proximity of the marine school to the sea also provides each student with the unique opportunity of using the unique and globally recognised Fal and Helford special area of conservation as their classroom.

The course timetable has not only been designed to provide each student ample opportunity to study successfully but it enables them to travel home regularly and ensures that they can take advantage of the range of part-time employment available within the bustling town of Falmouth.

The First Diploma gives you the option progressing onto the Extended Diploma in Marine Biology and Ecology. The local contacts associated with the Marine School combined with its international reputation as a training provider within the marine industry ensures that all of our students have an excellent opportunity to obtain employment within the challenging but exciting employment that is associated with the marine environment.
