As well as learning vocational skills that will help you progress in the marine industry. The Level 2 will provide you with essential skills in engineering materials, Health and Safety, electrical and mechanical science and the all-important engineering mathematics.

About this course
As a student on the Marine Level 2 you will gain valued hand skills and a practical working knowledge of marine systems and equipment used on board modern day motor and sailing yachts.
Trainee Marine Engineer or Apprentice
You will require a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades A*-D (9-3) including English and maths. Alternatively successful completion of a relevant Level 1 qualification and have achieved a Level 1 Functional Skill in English and maths.
