Course Content

Predominantly theoretical, you will study aspects of engineering principles, design and manufacture, and pneumatics and hydraulics. You will develop hand skills and a practical working knowledge of marine systems and equipment used on-board modern-day motor and sailing yachts.

As well as learning vocational skills that will help you progress in the marine industry, the BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate will provide you with essential skills in engineering principles materials, Health and Safety, electrical and mechanical science and the all-important engineering mathematics.
