The reporter is the one who reports and is in charge of reporting. The maritime beacon uses optical maritime signals which are constituted by the complex of signals placed on land or at sea to make coastal navigation safer and easier. These are used to indicate the presence of dangers, to help recognize the coast, to indicate the correct route through alignment and to provide significant points and orientation to the navigator. Obviously there are different types of signals that will be explored in the course.
