About this course
To train a student art of Swedish, holistic and therapeutic techniques. The importance of taking a case history. The use of the BNF book for checking medication after and during the taking of the case history. Once qualified in the theory and practical elements of this course you will receive certification and be accepted into a spa, clinic or salon environment for offering the service that you will have qualified in. (Body Massage including Swedish, Holistic & Therapeutic techniques)
This course will appeal to a beginner as long as they hold a valid certificate in Anatomy & Physiology. It could appeal to a Beauty Therapist who is wanting to add to her skill level.
Anatomy & Physiology
If a valid accredited certificate is held then this element will not be required.
Once you have completed the full theory and practical two days and passed your examination you will receive a Certificate which will show a pass merit or dist. It will detail that you have taken Swedish holistic and therapeutic elements.Insurance is discounted by £10.00 as it is an accredited course. Your tutor will give you a card with a number that you will need to quote when telephoning the Guild. The qualification is recognised by all Insurance companies.
It is a course offered on a one to one basis if required. At college you would be taught just the one element which would be Swedish Massage. We decided that it was very important to be able to offer Holistic with Stretches an Therapeutic using ice massage techniques all of which would be explained and carried out over the two day intensive theory and practical days

Now run over 33 different courses covering Beauty/Holistic and Nail Therapies. Since starting the Academy I have established a number of key relationships with product leaders such as Sweet Squared (CND) and Fake Bake which enables us uniquely to provide qualifications recognised by these and other industry leaders. Students will therefore not need to take additional product training.

Course Overview
This course will teach to you complete the classic Swedish massage as well as luxury elements to enhange your treatments. You will complete a variety of massages on models throughout the two days ensuring that you experience a variety of muscle tones and body types. You will also learn holistic stretches and therapeutic techniques. Accredited Course.Accreditation, GHT, Guild of Professional Holistic Therapists. As we have included the therapeutic techniques with this course it may also appeal to someone wanting to go into a medical profession such as physiotherapy of sports therapy or sports massage.
