- Swedish Body Massage
- Pathophysiology
- Practice Management
- Introductory Counselling Skills - Level One
Subject-specific Modules:
Indian Head Massage
This popular therapy is used to alleviate stress and tension in the head, neck, face and shoulders and it is an ideal introduction for clients who do not want, or cannot receive, body massage. The skills learned in this module can be used alone or with other massage treatments.
Advanced Massage Techniques
Here you learn specialised techniques for the various systems and regions of the body and for alleviating symptoms of disorders such as MS and IBS. Whilst relaxation remains an essential part of the treatment, the application of therapeutic massage therapy includes advanced techniques like visceral massage and neuromuscular technique.
On-Site Massage
On-site massage is particularly well suited for using in the workplace and is a well-established stress management technique in commercial settings.
Option
It is possible to substitute the Indian Head Massage module with Chinese medicine and Oriental Holistic Massage.
