Master in Economics

The Masters Degree in Economic Sciences prepares a graduate to acquire the following:
A solid knowledge of the methodologies and contents of economic sciences for the understanding, interpretation, and quantification of economic systems;
A profound knowledge of the function of mathematical-statistical instruments and their use in economic research;
Knowledge of economic business policy and analysis and of the foundations and principles of international, national, and communal legal order;
Knowledge of the economic disciplines relating to the aims, instruments and methods of intervention by the State, Central Banks and other independent authorities, national and supranational;
Good knowledge of the regulation of economic activities, due to the in-depth analysis of public and private profiles,especially through the study of the enterprise organization and banking, finance and insurance activities.

The Master’s Degree in Economic Sciences prepares a graduate to perform business activities within private and public organizations, for which a perfect knowledge of methodologies in the corporate, economic, juridical and mathematics-statistics sectors is required. According to current legislation, graduates could also work on a free-lance basis at the Professional Registers i.e. Chartered Accountant Register – Section A.
