The Master of Applied Linguistics trains you to apply your knowledge of language in diverse settings, including teaching, translation, journalism and media, language policy and planning, website design and
socio-educational development.
Do you love teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL), second language teaching (SLT), and the teaching of modern languages?
Engage with international experts in the fields of functional linguistics, world English, language and culture and media discourse. Course programme
The Master of Applied Linguistics requires the satisfactory completion of:
(a) A minimum of 36 credit points of core units of study.
(b) A maximum of 30 credit points from elective units of study
(c) At least 6 credit points of capstone units of study
