Master of Health Science - Coursework

Course description, features and facilities As a graduate, you will have advanced knowledge of Health Sciences that can be applied to both research and professional settings; as well as the capacity to solve problems by applying research methodologies combined with the ability to successfully communicate outcomes to a wide range of audiences.
Knowledge of your discipline and how it is researched will enable you to become its advocate in both specialist and non-specialist settings.
Students must nominate a specialisation on application. The Master of Health Science has specialisations in:
Exercise and Health
Human Biology
Neuroscience

Practicums are available in the following areas:
Department of Health (various areas) Cancer Council Hospital Benefit Fund AIDS Council Varied non-government organisations.

The Faculty of Science offers scholarships for domestic and international students. This course has been approved by the Department of Social Services for Student Support Payments. Eligible students can receive Youth Allowance, Austudy or Pensioner Education Supplement. Further information can be found on the Department of Social Services website.
