Course programme

Structure and assessment Program Structure

You are required to complete 15 units, comprising of 11 discipline units within a selected major and 4 electives. Majors can be selected from Mobile Application Development or Network Security or Software Development. The course also offers a 12 credit point capstone project where you demonstrate your knowledge by completing a discipline project. You can accomplish work integrated learning by an internship.

Work integrated Learning

Students in the Master of Information Technology are able to apply for an internship. To qualify for the internship, students need to undertake BUSN20017 Effective Business Communications as an elective as this is a preparatory unit for the internship. This unit will prepare you for working with the internship host.

To qualify for internship students must be in a good academic standing, successfully pass the CQUniversity English Language Placement test and complete an interview with the internship host.
