The Master of Investigations from Charles Sturt University is designed for experienced investigators, and those new to the field, to enhance their investigative knowledge and skills across a number of areas that impact upon modern investigations.
These areas include financial crime, terrorism, intelligence and a range of international issues.

Subjects
For each 8 point subject you are enrolled in, you should expect to spend 10 to 12 hours per week working on assignments and assigned readings, tutorial assistance, individual or group research/study, forum activity, workplace learning, and attending lectures, residential schools, or examinations.
If you are studying four subjects per session, this is equivalent to a full-time job. The workload for some subjects may vary as a result of approved course design.

Graduation requirements
As a Charles Sturt University student, throughout your course you have a responsibility to continue to develop skills in English language, literacy and numeracy as appropriate to your discipline. This ongoing development will enable you to effectively participate in your course and graduate prepared to enter the workforce.

To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 96 points.
Graduate Diploma of Investigations
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 64 points.

Graduate Diploma of Investigations
In addition to the subjects required for the Graduate Certificate, students must complete 1 core subject and upto 2 electives.
JST497 Multi Agency Investigations (16)
2 elective subjects (maximum 16 points) from the Australian Graduate School of Policing and Security postgraduate subjects

In addition to the subjects required for the Graduate Diploma, students must complete 2 core subjects, from the following Coursework or Research study options.
