The ANU Master of Laws in Migration Law will give students the knowledge, understanding and insight for professional success in the demanding and complex environment of migration law. This professional program is designed to expand legal expertise in a rapidly changing complex area of law, providing students with a nuanced understanding of migration law in the domestic and global context.Students will address recent developments in domestic and international law and professional practice. The program includes research, principles and methods applicable to this area of work and allows students to undertake both a research project and a practice component.This online program is designed to assist students to structure their engagement with their study around work or family commitments.We provide specialist training and knowledge to equip students with the critical tools needed to engage with migration law and work as migration law specialist practitioners, policy makers and academics.Because the program is online it will not be registered on CRICOS for student visa eligibility.

A Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Laws (Honours), Graduate Certificate of Australian Migration Law and Practice or Juris Doctor with GPA 4.0; Or Graduate Certificate of Law with GPA 4.0 and registration as a Migration Agent.
