In this program you will develop clinical practice knowledge and skills, explore healthcare systems and develop an understanding of your profession within local and global contexts. You will investigate workforce and professional practice issues, contemporary health problems, ethical issues in health care, community expectations for healthcare quality and safety, and many more interesting topics.
This course provides extensive nursing clinical practice, including 880 clinical hours. Approximately half the nursing subjects involve clinical placements in health facilities, both public and private, and in Sydney Nursing School's clinical laboratories that simulate health care environments.
The Master of Nursing (Graduate Entry), studied alone as a graduate entry program or as part of a combined degree, is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia for the purposes of becoming a Registered Nurse.
