Master of US Studies

Deepen your understanding of American politics, culture and society. This degree will ask you to think critically about the underlying theories and concepts of American studies, and test your assumptions about the United States and its influence in the world.



Our course provides you with an international perspective on American politics and foreign policy. It will prepare you to reach your intellectual goals by ranging from policy analysis through to an appreciation of cultural power and historical change.

The Master of US Studies is accredited by the Australia and New Zealand American Studies Association, and scholarships unique to the degree are available including: the Rosa Parks Scholarship ($5000 - $10,000), the Susan B Anthony Scholarship ($2500 - $5000), The Rachel Carson Scholarship ($1000 - $2000) and the Eleanor Roosevelt Scholarship ($1000 - $2000).
