The MSc in Auditing and Taxation is an innovative programme, where robust academic preparation is combined with learning in a real business context. The programme begins with principal courses focused on Accounting, Law and Finance issues. During the second semester, students are allocated to an audit firm - KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, BDO, Crowe Horwath, Baker Tilly or Grant Thornton - in order to focus their attention on actual problems and alternative solutions. During this second term, students are fully integrated into the work of the audit firm’s team. During the third term, students come back to the University to attend several courses in specific subjects. The fourth and last term is dedicated to the Masters final report.

This MSc is designed for recently graduated students that are looking for an opportunity to enrich their portfolio of skills and knowledge in Auditing and Taxation in order to gain a strong advantage in the job market.

About this course

The MSc in Auditing and Taxation, by incorporating a strong component of training in a real work environment, provides students with a high level of professionalism and guides them directly to the job market. Consequently, career opportunities initially tend to come from the audit firms where the training component took place. However, given the technical and professional skills developed in either the academic or the work environment, the latter in companies highly-regarded for their strong training component, the MSc in Auditing and Taxation is an excellent step towards entering the business world.

The application process to the Masters of the Católica Porto Business School must contain elements that provide evidence of the academic and scientific competence of the candidates, as well as the command of the English language. The GMAT test is valued in the selection process to assess the academic and scientific skills

Acceptance and enrolment in the Masters: € 625. The fee will not be refunded in case students cancel their enrolment.
1st year fees (curricular part: 60 ECTS): 10 instalments of €531
2nd year fees (dissertation, project or internship: 36 ECTS): 5 instalments of €637,20
