Our Materials Science and Engineering BEng (Hons) degree will build your knowledge of these core areas, ensuring you have the knowledge and skillset to forge an industry-relevant career.
Covering the fundamentals, our Materials Science and Engineering degree will give you the opportunity to explore - while deepening your knowledge and understanding of - the scientific, engineering and design aspects of materials, their structure, properties, processing, in-service behaviour and environmental impact.
Our Materials Science and Engineering degree is a carefully planned academic course which meets the specific requirements of industry and the relevant professional bodies. The MEng version of this course offers a fast track route towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
