This course will provide students with a greater knowledge and understanding of Advanced Mathematics and help to enhance your current skills. It is the ideal course for adults or young people who would like to develop their skills. The Advanced Mathematical Skills programme is broken down into smaller units (Awards) which will help you to build your confidence and ability in a range of topic areas. Learners can expect to explore a number of areas such as understanding numbers and formulae, using decimals, fractions, percentages and much more!
This programme will help you to work towards Mathematics Functional Skills Level 2.

The Mathematical Skills (Advanced) course is divided into nine comprehensive units:

Each unit in this course is broken down into 4 sections:
Section 1 – Quick Quiz
Section 2 – Maths Guide
Section 3 – Mock Assessment
Section 4 – Assessment
ASSESSMENT
Students will be required to study 9 units, all of which will explore a different aspect of Advanced Mathematical Skills. To claim the certificate of achievement, students are required to complete all available units.
