Our mathematics courses are highly regarded, and in the 2019 Guardian University Guide, were ranked in the top 10 in the UK.
Our degree in mathematics and computing is designed to develop your skills in advanced programming and software engineering as well as in mathematics and computing software tools. You will also explore logical analysis, deduction and mathematical modelling and gain the skills to apply these to computer systems.
If you are interested in teaching mathematics, you will be able to take part in the Undergraduate Ambassadors Scheme, which encourages and nurtures mathematics teachers and allows you to gain experience in the classroom.

About this course
For entry, you will require:
104 UCAS points, such as 3 A-levels at grades BCC including grade C in A-level mathematics.
GCSEs in English Language and mathematics at grade C / 4 or above.
