Course programme

Summary

This part time course will give students confidence and a positive attitude towards mathematics. It will also enable students to recognise the importance of maths in their own lives and society. It could also provide a vital stepping stone to Higher Education. You will cover a range of topics for instance general arithmetic, algebra, shape and space and data handling. GCSE Mathematics is offered as a 3 hour lesson once a week for one academic year. Options are available in the day and evening.

Additional information

Progression Students may go on to one of the Access to HE courses at CCN or many university courses which require GCSE maths at A-C (4/5) grade. Many vocational course also have this requirement.
