Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the course start in November?
Because the course is a November resit course for thie first nine weeks of the year. The missed weeks are made up by the course being taught for five hours a week rather than the normal three hours a week. It also gives us time to assess a student's sutiability for the higher course.

What grades can I get?
A* to D are the available grades.

Why would I do this course instead of the Foundation course?
There are a number of reasons for this: you may have not taken the GCSE exam before and wish to get the best possible grade you can: you might have taken foundation GCSE and got a grade C but want to improve it; there might be good reasons for you getting a grade D at GCSE when you were predicted a B or above.
