From the foundations to the forefront of research, you’ll gain a thorough grounding in the theories and techniques that underlie modern mathematics.
Our MMath covers a wide variety of topics from analysis, mathematical biology and financial mathematics to numerical analysis and probability. You’ll learn from experts who are working on real-world research projects in various areas of pure and applied mathematics. To support your career development, you’ll learn how to use industry-standard software (including MATLAB and SAS).
During your integrated Masters year, you’ll develop new research skills – particularly relevant if you're interested in going on to a research career at universities or in industry. You’ll apply your skills in your individual research project, supervised by a member of faculty.
