Course programme
A three year ordinary degree is available for applicants with lower initial qualifications than those seeking an honours degree. In the first year, you take eight special modules in mathematics together with modules chosen from other departments. In the second year, modules must include most of the work described under the heading. In your third year, you choose to study a selection of modules. Students achieving a sufficiently good pass at the end of the first year are given the opportunity to transfer to the honours degree scheme in Mathematics.
