About the course
Do you need help to develop your skills and confidence in maths? Do you shy away from helping your kids with their homework? Or perhaps you need to gain qualifications to progress with your career?
Our maths courses could be your stepping-stone to moving into further education or getting out into the world of work. Whether you want to improve your existing skills or you’re starting from scratch, we have a range of courses for different levels and abilities.
We know that maths can be challenging, but our lecturers will give you the support and confidence you need to get the grade you want. Some courses are free, you don’t need any qualifications to get started, and you’ll get a personal learning plan that will set your goals and chart your progress. What’s more, if you don’t already have a grade C or above, then you don’t have to pay anything for your course.
Please note that if you are under 19 and wish to study English and/or maths you will need to study English and/or maths as part of a study programme or spend 20 hours or more per week working or volunteering. Please contact for further advice.

What you'll learn
Our maths courses cover a range of subjects for all levels and abilities. There are four fundamental areas of maths that you’ll cover; numbers, algebra, geometry and statistics. Don’t worry though, our lecturers will make sure you’re supported every step of the way and that you move through the material at a pace that’s comfortable for you.
What you’ll learn very much depends on the level of course your study. You may study Functional Skills or a GCSE, but our team will be able to make sure you’re on the correct pathway for you.
