Summary

Functional Skills in English and Maths is a part time course for students over 19. If you want to develop your English and Maths but aren't ready for GCSEs yet then Functional Skills is a good starting point. The qualification is recognised by colleges and employers and some universities accept Functional Skills instead of GCSEs. The course is offered on a day or evening basis and the classes are usually 2 1/2 hours long.
