About this course
You cannot have previously achieved an A-C grade (level 4 or higher) at GCSE maths.
You should be confident with your basic maths skills and ideally have recent experience of studying maths, although this is not essential. The entry requirement for the course is the successful completion of an assessment (duration one hour) which will test whether you have the appropriate maths skills to be successful on the course. Test dates are 2nd July, 9th July, 31st August and 6th September. You must attend one of these dates.

GCSE maths helps develop knowledge and understanding of problem-solving, mathematical reasoning, applying maths in context and the functional elements of maths.
