This flexible course system offers a broad variety of options, with a year out in employment for those who want to gain experience in an industrial setting.
You will gain key laboratory skills throughout your degree and in your final year, you will get the opportunity to work alongside one of our leading research groups completing an individual research project in an area of your choice, including molecular and cellular biology, neuroscience, structural biology, or plant biochemistry.
Our MBiochem degree is the perfect stepping stone to a PhD or to progress into a variety of careers in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, forensic science, or teaching.
