This course gives you opportunities to design radical new services that are highly desirable for customers as well as profitable and sustainable.
Service Design Innovation is based on the idea that an effective service is built by gaining a deep understanding of the interaction between service providers and the end user, including their wants, needs and potential for co-creation. Students use a specific set of methods and processes based on design thinking. In particular this course will require you to develop the ability to design user research, to facilitate stakeholder workshops, and to project manage a service design process.

Entry requirements
Home/EU
First or upper second class honours degree (or equivalent non-UK qualifications) in a relevant subject, or an equivalent professional qualification in a related subject area.
If you are applying directly from an undergraduate degree course without experience or professional practice you must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of your chosen subject area.

This stage builds on the practical application of design thinking with a focus on innovation and industry oriented professional practice. Teaching and learning methods in this term are reflective of real world practices ensuring that participants are well versed in new service/product design methods, blueprinting, modelling, brand guardianship, consumer marketing and routes to market.
