Student will learn to develop affordable hand-made clasps and mechanisms possibly leading the invention of a few new never before seen mechanisms.

Course structureThe Mechanisms: Hinges and Clasps Short Course seeks to explore different ways to implement these mechanisms. Each student will also come away from the course with an instructional information pack which outlines all the material covered as well as several designs not covered in this course, a great bench reference.
By the end of the course, each student will be able to produce hinges, clasps and pin back mechanisms.
