About the course Media production offers exciting career paths, and this well-established course has seen many graduates progress to successful careers in the UK and international media. Media production is influenced by cultural, economic and political factors and you will study these, as well as history of media, as you focus your own ideas and creativity, and acquire the technical skills to realise your ideas – learning to make powerful, effective media products that connect with their target audience. All students to learn how to make documentaries and dramas, then you can choose to specialise in areas like Moving Image, New Media, Radio or Scriptwriting or to maintain a general view of this broad area, and then to join the final year of a BA (Hons) Media Production. This course is delivered in partnership with Bedford College

About this course

A foundation degree will be of particular interest if you have completed a Modern Apprenticeship, vocational A levels, BTEC National or equivalent. Foundation degrees are also particularly suitable if you want to qualify while working. / entry As a guideline, a typical offer would require you to obtain a UCAS tariff score of between points, based on your level 3 studies. Many students studying for foundation degrees come to us through work-based routes so you can apply for a foundation degree even if you don't have traditional academic qualifications. .
