Computer-aided mechanical engineering is, in a sense, virtual engineering. It allows engineers to design and test new products or systems without having to build expensive prototypes. The MEng Computer-aided Mechanical Engineering covers the fundamental principles of engineering, design, computer aided engineering (CAE) and manufacturing. At GCU you will use industry-standard software such as PTC Creo and ANSYS and benefit from the industrial experience gained through work placements and visiting lecturers from industry.
