Course Content:
§ Know what is meant by ‘mentoring’.
§ Understand the need to respect individuality and difference
within the mentoring relationship.
§ Know the stages of the ‘mentoring’ relationship.
§ Know a range of techniques to make mentees feel comfortable and
at ease.
§ Know the boundaries of a mentoring relationship.
§ Know when and to whom referrals should be made.
§ Use mentoring skills and demonstrate good practice.
