The MGA Academy is an aspiring centre of excellence – training, supporting and promoting young performers here in beautiful Edinburgh. Mindful that there are very few independent, specialist Musical Theatre Academies outside of London that provide not only the expert tuition required but also the industry contacts and career development tools young performers deserve. As an independent SQA Approved Centre, we can guarantee you high standards of training, and the opportunity to gain both HNC and HND qualifications in Musical Theatre. Both our Full-Time Foundation Course and Part-Time School are affiliated with Trinity and Guildhall College, London, and we have been awarded Recognised School Status by the Council for Dance Education and Training for all our part time classes and workshops. The MGA Academy are also proud members of the British Voice Association, FSB and Equity Advisory Service. We have a proven track record of delivering some of the best training and opportunities available in the UK.The MGA Academy attracts some of the finest tutors from across the UK and beyond, and sources fantastic local facilities to give students a truly professional experience. Faculty members and graduates from some of the worlds finest performing arts institutions including The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Bird College, Laine Theatre Arts, Mountview Academy, The Royal Academy of Music, Arts Educational and New York University have helped us create a truly comprehensive set of full-time Musical Theatre courses.
