About this course
This course is designed for beginners, however, students are required to have a beauty background, including eyebrow shaping, skin treatments or hairdressing and some A&P knowledge. Students must be 18+.

Suitable for trainees of all levels. Students must be 18+. The course is made up of two days training in store, then a separate assessment day. The assessment day starts with questions, problem solving, help and guidance in the morning, then performing a complete Microblading procedure on your model (unaided) in the afternoon. An ABT Accredited Certificate can only be awarded on successful completion, and meeting all requirements and criteria of the assessment. Assessment days run every month so you can book on when you have completed your case studies. Students are required to provide two models on Day 2 of the course, and one model on Day 3 (Assessment Day). Models must: be 18+, not pregnant or breast feeding, not have fillers around brow area, have no cuts or abrasions in or close to brow area, not about to visit any hot climates or have a recent suntan and must complete a patch test prior to treatment. We recommend you bring your own lunch.

Licensing
- Microblading is classified as a ‘medical’ treatment and needs to be carried out on a licenced premises. This special licence can be obtained from your local council, who will visit and inspect the premises/treatment area. There will be a fee for this licence and each district council has its own requirements and cost, so check with your local authority prior to booking this course. These treatments CANNOT be carried out on a mobile basis - only premises that hold a licence.
- Not all insurance companies cover this procedure, so please check with your own insurance company first. Being classed as ‘medical’, there will be an extra premium to add on to existing insurance. This is an ABT accredited course where insurance is given.
- Certificates will not be issued until all 5 case studies have been completed and the assessment has been passed to the satisfaction of the assessor. Students must complete this within 3 months of taking the course.
- The kit included in the course contains enough pigments, needles, a tool, a caliper, sticky rulers, pigment caps and a pencil to carry out at least 5 case studies. Additional items may need to be purchased in order to complete your case studies.
All materials will be provided for you on the day of the course. The price of the course includes a kit, which contains a Microblading tool, and range of pigments and a range of needles. You will also receive an ABT Accredited Diploma.
