Microsoft Excel 2007 Conversion

Introduction
This course provides an opportunity to see the changes that have occurred in the newest version of Excel enabling previously experienced delegates to use the new features of the programme to their full potential. Post course support is available for 3 months following the course via Telephone or Email.

• Using Excel functions; SUM, AVERAGE, MIN and MAX
• Using absolute, relative and mixed cell references in formulae
• Formatting; text, number and cell formats
• Creating and modifying charts
• Creating and using custom templates
• Conditional logic - using the IF function
• Range names and hyperlinks
• Using Excel as a simple database; sorting, filtering and sub-totalling data
• Grouping and outlining data
• Lookup tables
• Advanced database functionality; PivotTables and PivotCharts
• Data validation and conditional formatting
• Recording and running macros
• Using multiple workbooks; creating a workspace file
• Group work; protecting and sharing workbooks, tracking changes

Suitability

Experienced existing users of Excel who already produce high quality documents with graphics, customised layouts, and macros.
