Microsoft Excel Intermediate

Introduction
This course is essential for regular users of Excel who wish to fully utilise the more sophisticated aspects of the programme including the Excel Database and IF functions. Post course support is available for 3 months following the course via Telephone or Email.

Course Content

• Creating and using custom templates
• Using multiple worksheets; adding, deleting, re-naming and linking sheets
• Conditional logic - using the IF function
• The FV and PMT functions
• Styles and custom formats
• Range names and hyperlinks
• Importing and exporting data
• Using Excel as a simple database; sorting, filtering and sub-totalling data
• Grouping and outlining data
• Lookup tables
• Using Excel's drawing tools

Suitability

Delegates with basic experience of Microsoft Excel or who have attended the introduction course and who wish to create and maintain more complex spreadsheets, and use more of Excel's capabilities.
