Course Overview:
To create compelling PowerPoint presentations using a variety of formatting features.
This course is designed to equip the new user with a full understanding of the functions and features of Microsoft PowerPoint. Users will be taken step-by-step through the process of creating a slideshow and presentation material.
Day 2 builds on day 1 to cover advanced features in PowerPoint such as ‘tailoring’ the look of a presentation.
Delegates will practice their new skills, ask questions and complete revision exercises. Learners will sit “mock tests” including online diagnostics. This will enable them to address any gaps in their knowledge prior to taking the actual online ITQ exam. The results will be shared with the delegate immediately after the test.

Course Delivery:
Induction Short session to complete relevant paperwork, ICT housekeeping and receive full induction to SFI programme.
PowerPoint Day 1 Creating a slideshow, Adding Text, Bullets, Drawing Tools/Clipart, Graphing, Text Editing, Utilities, Slide Shows / Printing.
PowerPoint Day 2 Modifying the Slide Master, Use of the Ruler, Object Linking and Embedding, Tables/Organisation Chart, Speaker's Notes, Working with Outlines, Video and Audio, Customising PPT.
Workshop Revision, Q & A Session, Diagnostics, Online test.
